BSO De Buitenbengels Twijzel

Welcome to BSO De Buitenbengels in Twijzel, located at Piterpôlle 29. We are a professional after-school care facility that has been ready for children aged 4 to 12 every school day since 2 September 2024. Our BSO is part of De Buitenbengels Friesland B.V., an organisation that believes in extraordinary childcare where nature, movement and personal attention are central. We provide before-school care from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and after-school care from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. During school holidays and on teacher training days we offer full-day care, so parents can always rely on flexible and dependable childcare. Our location is situated in several rooms of the school, which we have arranged to suit the age and needs of the children. There is plenty of room to move around, as well as quiet corners for reading or playing. We work with themes that connect to the children’s world of experience. Think of scavenger hunts through the village, nature exploration, creative craft activities and sports and games outings. Outdoor play is very important to us: the children romp in the green play area and discover the world around them through play. We also regularly organise excursions, for example to the forest or to local farms. Our team in Twijzel consists of familiar faces who ensure a safe and familiar environment. Location coordinator Jimkje Hansma Dillema, pedagogical employee Margje Hiemstra and group assistant Maaike are ready every day with personal attention and a smile. We pick up children from De Parel, De Kloostertuin, Het Krijt, Het Sterrenschip and OBS Kloosterveen.
