BSO De Buitenbengels Buitenpost

Welcome to BSO De Buitenbengels Buitenpost, located at Johan Frisostraat 2 in the heart of Buitenpost. We are part of De Buitenbengels Friesland and have been providing after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 since January 2, 2025. Our location is situated on the grounds of Christelijke Basisschool De Lichtbron, with whom we work closely. Outdoor play and movement are central to our approach. We believe children learn best through play. That's why we offer an extensive activity program tailored to the different ages and interests of the children. During holidays, we organize extra activities, sometimes outside our location. Think nature and forest activities, sports and games, creative workshops and cultural outings. We find it important that children can choose what they want to do within clear boundaries. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in a positive and stimulating way. We pick up and drop off children to and from all schools in Buitenpost and surrounding areas, such as De Parel, De Kloostertuin, Het Krijt, Het Sterrenschip and OBS Kloosterveen. So parents don't have to worry about transportation. Our care is not only for children from Buitenpost, but also for children from surrounding villages such as Veenklooster, Kollumerzwaag, Burum and Warfstermolen. Our BSO offers before-school care (VSO), after-school care and holiday care. We work in a homely atmosphere with a permanent team of pedagogical professionals. Personal attention for each child is what we find most important. We want every child to feel at home quickly here and to have the space to be themselves and develop.
