BSO De Boomhut

BSO De Boomhut is located within Kindcentrum De Bosvaert at Burgemeester van Besouwlaan 2 in Kaatsheuvel. We provide after-school care for up to 14 children aged 4 to 12. Our small-scale setting creates a familiar, homely atmosphere where every child can simply be themselves. Outdoor play is at the heart of De Boomhut. Children romp in the large garden, build huts, climb trees, do woodwork, garden and explore nature with all their senses. When the weather is poor, a cosy indoor area with a dolls’ corner, construction zone and reading nook is available. In the spacious kitchen the children regularly bake and cook their own tasty treats. We follow the philosophy of Janusz Korczak: children can already do a great deal by themselves and we take them seriously. Our pedagogical staff offer activities, but the choice is always up to the child. If you want to flop on the sofa with a book after school, that’s perfectly fine! BSO De Boomhut is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 198661277 and is part of Stichting Kindercentra Midden-Brabant.
