BSO De Bongerd

BSO De Bongerd is located inside the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Bongerd at Patrijs 28 in the Drievliet district of Ridderkerk. We work closely with Christelijke Basisschool De Bongerd, allowing children to stay in familiar surroundings right after school. Our site hosts four horizontal groups for children aged 4 to 13. Children can choose free play with a wide range of toys, get creative with crafts, curl up with a book, or simply unwind after a busy school day. Our large green outdoor area – the schoolyard fitted with climbing frames, swings and a football field – invites running, romping and sporty games. We regularly organise creative or sporty group activities; we sing, dance and invent new adventures together. Quiet space for homework is available for those who want it. Before-school care runs from 7.30 – 8.30 a.m. and after-school care from 2.00 – 6.00 p.m.; on weekdays this can be extended to 7.00 a.m. or to 6.30 p.m. During school holidays and study days we look at the number of registrations; some holiday days are celebrated together with BSO Oosterhonk. Our team is led by location manager Yvonne de Snoo. In short, BSO De Bongerd is a safe, welcoming place where children love to come and where parents can leave their children with confidence.
