Buitenschoolse opvang De Boks

Welcome to BSO de Boks, a small-scale after-school care centre in the heart of Mariaheide. Since 2016 we have provided a warm place every weekday where children aged 4 to 12 can simply be themselves after school. Our home at Hennenberg 18 – right next to the primary school – has room for up to 45 children. We offer before-school care, after-school care and holiday care. Freedom of choice is central at de Boks. Children decide for themselves: free play in our living room, joining the daily activity or romping around on the adjoining playground. We offer something different every day – from arts and crafts to sports and outdoor play – but nothing is compulsory. After all, free time is free time. Our team consists of five dedicated childcare professionals who value close contact with parents. Pick-up and drop-off are moments of hand-over: we briefly exchange information about how the day went and what is going on. This keeps us close to the child and the family. Extra care or a swap day can be arranged as long as group size allows. BSO de Boks is open five days a week. We work from a homely atmosphere in which rest, space and respect form the basis. This makes our care a familiar place where children feel at home and parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
