BSO De Bincken

BSO De Bincken is located on the upper floor of the monumental De Scheper building at Kerklaan 29 in Laren, as an annex location of primary school De Binckhorst-St. Jan. We provide after-school care for students of this school. After a busy school day, children can relax and unwind in a familiar environment together with their classmates. Our location features three fresh, renovated classrooms specially designed for after-school care. We use the renovated school playground where children can play and move to their heart's content. Healthy nutrition, physical activity, and broad development are important pillars in our program. An enthusiastic team of pedagogical staff offers daily activities that align with the school's mission and vision. Our mission is: 'To offer children, with all their talents and differences, development and growth opportunities in a safe, social, and inviting environment'. We invite and encourage children to participate in activities while also providing space for free time after school. The BSO is open four days a week. During school weeks, we are open from 14:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Friday, the BSO opens at 12:30 for the lower grades. We are temporarily closed on Wednesday. Each day we close at 18:30. During holiday weeks, the BSO is open from 8:00 to 18:30. We are open 50 weeks per year, closing during the week between Christmas and January 2nd, plus three additional closure days to be determined.
