BSO de Avonturenbende

Welcome to BSO De Avonturenbende, our after-school care centre located at Vullingsweg 62 in Heerlen. We are part of Stichting Humankind and provide care for up to 66 children aged 4 to 13. Our doors are open every weekday from 07:30 to 18:30. In addition to regular after-school care, we also offer daily before-school care from 07:30 to 08:45, allowing parents to drop off their children early before school starts. Our pedagogical staff personally collect the youngest children from school. Older children who are able to walk or cycle independently are welcome to make their own way. When the distance to school exceeds 15–20 minutes on foot, we can arrange transport by car, minibus or taxi if required. We are also open on teacher training days and study days. The exact programme for these days is announced at the beginning of the school year and may involve children being cared for at another Humankind BSO location. We operate both vertically and horizontally grouped settings, depending on enrolment numbers and the physical possibilities of the premises. We always tailor our activity programme to the different age groups so that every child feels both challenged and secure. BSO De Avonturenbende is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 729675269 and is supervised by GGD Zuid-Limburg.
