BSO de Alm

BSO de Alm is part of Kindcentrum De Alm located in the Groenewoud district of Tilburg South. We provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our facility is housed within De Alm primary school at Groenewoudstraat 70, allowing children to transition directly from their school day into a familiar and welcoming environment. We collect children from various nearby schools using our own BSO bus and cars. For older children, there is also the option to walk independently from school to our location. We operate two age-based groups: a 4+ room for children aged 4 to 7 and an 8+ room for children aged 8 and above. Each group has its own atmosphere and activities tailored to the developmental stage of the children. Our spaces are equipped with different play areas including a home corner, chill area, dolls corner, table football, and TV corner. We offer a wide range of play materials from Lego and Kapla to craft supplies and board games. Creative activities such as cutting, gluing, clay work, and painting are regularly provided. Sports and games are also part of our program, both indoors in our play hall and outdoors on the two school playgrounds and in the nearby Groenewoud park. Our pedagogical policy focuses on providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and creatively. We work with dedicated childcare professionals who are committed to the children and attentive to their individual needs and interests. We undergo annual inspections by the GGD and meet all quality requirements of the Childcare Act.
