BSO Comenius

BSO Comenius is located inside Algemene Basisschool Comenius at Celebesstraat 7 in Den Helder. Since 26 February 2024 we provide after-school care right inside the school, in close partnership with Monter Kinderopvang. Previously, pupils had to go to BSO de Schatkist across the street, but now they can stay in their familiar school building after class. Our new BSO room features a brand-new kitchen, various play corners with age-appropriate materials and a chill-out area for older children. We can welcome up to 20 children and work with a small, permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff. Our programme follows the school hours and holiday calendar of Comenius primary school. We focus on creating a safe, homely atmosphere where children can relax, find structure and enjoy themselves after a busy school day.
