BSO Calimero locatie de Tirrel

Welcome to BSO Calimero location De Tirrel, our new after-school care in the heart of Winsum. Since mid-September 2023 we offer, in the multifunctional centre De Tirrel, a trusted place for up to 50 school-age children aged 4 to 12. Every day we pick up the children from all primary schools in Winsum and walk them to our spacious, colourful group rooms. The BSO is a relaxed, enjoyable and responsible extension of home education. We achieve this through contact with other children, a varied activity programme and rooms that are cosy, safe and challenging. Our permanent team of skilled pedagogical staff are ready with personal attention and guidance. Our goal is to create a safe and familiar environment in which every child feels at ease and parents can leave their child with peace of mind. We strive for responsible childcare that contributes to good and healthy development. Children can learn from each other, develop consideration for one another and build a sense of togetherness. Within the possibilities of the BSO, children have great freedom of choice: from playing outside to quietly reading a book – nothing is compulsory, everything is allowed. Every child has the right to individual attention and care, while the interests of the group as a whole are safeguarded. BSO location De Tirrel is open Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For before-school care we refer to our other location De Wierde. Together we form Calimero Kidz, a small-scale organisation that has been a trusted name in Winsum and the surrounding area for many years.
