BSO Calimero De Knapzak

Welcome to BSO Calimero De Knapzak, our cheerful after-school care located at Thijplein 8 in Rossum. We are part of childcare organization Calimero and have been providing trusted after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 since 2013. Our location accommodates 34 children and is designed to allow children to play, discover and develop completely according to their own initiative. With us, fun and personal attention are central. We work with two fixed core groups: a junior group for children aged 4 to 8 and a senior group for 8 to 12 year olds. Each group has dedicated childcare professionals who know the children well and guide them in their development. Our spacious indoor area offers various corners such as a doll and construction corner, a television corner and a separate creative space where children can express their imagination and creativity. Outside, we have a large garden where children can romp and play to their heart's content. We regularly organize fun activities and excursions, both on school days and during holidays. Our after-school care is open when school is closed, so also on free afternoons and study days. Flexible care is possible for parents with irregular working hours. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home with us. That's why we pay a lot of attention to developing self-confidence, learning to play and share with others, and discovering personal boundaries.
