BSO Bzzzonder Nieuwland

Welcome to BSO Bzzzonder Nieuwland, our after-school care located in the historic Wijkboerderij Nieuwland at Zeldertsedreef 2 in Amersfoort. We are a warm, homely place where primary school children aged 4 to 12 can flourish after school. The children have their own special spot in the loft of the farm – a super cool corner where they can unwind from their busy school day. We always start the afternoon calmly with a cup of tea at the table. There's laughter, storytelling, and sometimes some grumbling about those tricky math problems. Then it's time for action! We romp around in our own exploration garden with mud workshop and stick hut, do some cooking in De Deel, and regularly head out to playground De Draak, just a stone's throw away from our BSO. For the real outdoor kids, there's also De Buitenbso: here we play outside 99% of the time, whatever the weather. De Buitenbso is for children from 7 years old with a swimming diploma. At Bzzzonder, we believe that every child develops in their own way and at their own pace. We ensure that every child feels safe and at home. Our pedagogical staff provide loving guidance and stimulate development with fun activities. We are an inclusive organization: everyone is welcome, including children who need some extra help, care, or attention. We love to have conversations with parents to see what is needed so that their child can be completely themselves. Our location is also a meeting place of Bzzzondere Gasten. This means that parents can also come here for a bite to eat and a drink, meetings, or parties. We work together with ABC Nieuwland (Amersfoortse Brede Combinatie) to make Nieuwland a pleasant environment for all parents and children. We pick up children from various schools in the neighborhood. Dirty grass knees and muddy boots are not seen as dirty, but as proof that plenty of new experiences have been gained!
