BSO Buiten Scouting

Welcome to BSO Buiten Scouting, located at van der Helstlaan 2 in Baarn. We are part of BSO Buiten and provide after-school care with a strong focus on sports and outdoor fun in nature. Our location is situated on the grounds of Scouting Ernst van Kempen and offers space for up to 36 children aged 4 to 12. Being outdoors is at the heart of what we do. Children climb trees, build huts, learn knots, and sharpen sticks. We regularly explore the forest to spot animals or simply enjoy outdoor play. We also organize active games like laser tag in the woods and go on trips to places such as the beach or nearby playgrounds. We pick up children from various primary schools in Baarn and the surrounding area. After school, children can choose to play freely or join a planned activity. We provide bread meals and healthy snacks like fruit and crackers. During school holidays, we offer holiday care from 08:30 to 18:30, giving us even more time for adventurous activities and longer outings. Our qualified staff are ready to support the children in their development. We work with a vertical group structure, allowing children of different ages to play and learn together. This creates a homely atmosphere where siblings can be together, just like at home. In short, at BSO Buiten Scouting, children experience a new adventure in nature every day!
