BSO de Bron

BSO Bron/Blinker is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and is located together with primary schools De Bron and De Blinker at De Blink 1 and 5 in Bolsward. Our after-school care serves children aged 4 to 12. We collaborate closely with the schools: our pedagogical staff know the teachers well and we share facilities such as playrooms, corridors and school playgrounds. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to the children's world of experience. Activities focus on the four seasons, holidays and themes. We stimulate motor skills through crafts and play activities, promote language development through circle discussions, reading aloud and singing, and work on social-emotional development by playing games together and role-playing in the doll corner. During holidays we organise different activities every day as part of Kinderopvang Friesland's top arrangement. We regularly go on excursions, for example to the nursing home for the elderly next to the school. Our location is a pleasant and warm place where children feel at home. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued. We approach all children as equals, consciously pay attention to each child and ensure that all children have a full position in the group. We pay attention to the uniqueness of each child, recognise talents and individuality and name these positively.
