BSO Bolderburen, location de Berkel is located in the child center of Vrije School de Berkel at Henri Dunantweg 4 in Zutphen. We provide after-school care based on anthroposophical principles, where homely coziness, warmth and attention for each child are central. Our location accommodates up to 50 children aged 4 to 12 years. The atmosphere at our after-school care seamlessly connects with the school atmosphere, so children experience school and after-school care as one whole. We strive for a homely atmosphere where free play is central and activities and materials are tailored to the children's developmental stage. There is a fixed daily structure that provides security and safety. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and work from the anthroposophical view of the human being. We provide care before and after school hours, during study days and holidays. Children can use the school playground which is arranged as much as possible for challenging play. In addition, we regularly go outside, to the forest or other play areas in the area. Just like in the Swedish Bullerbyn (Bolderburen) by Astrid Lindgren, after whom we are named, there is always something to experience with us. We want to let children experience adventures and offer them a carefree time after school.
