BSO Boefje

BSO Boefje at Drielse Wetering 49 in Zaandam is a small-scale, home-like after-school care centre for children aged 4 to 12. We pick the children up from various primary schools in the municipalities of Zaanstad and Wormerland with our own electric buses. After school they can play, relax and enjoy activities together with peers. We craft, cook, sing and chat in a cosy atmosphere. There is always a quiet corner for children who need a moment of rest. During school holidays we organise extra exciting activities. Think of active outings to the climbing dunes, fairy-tale wonderland, zoos or museums. We also run creative workshops on music, dance, yoga and cooking. Each holiday has its own theme, so the children discover something new every break. From the age of 4.5 children can take weekly swimming lessons at De Crommenije pool in Krommenie. Qualified swimming instructors from Stichting Zwembaden Zaanstad provide the lessons. Our pedagogical staff drop off and pick up the children and stay in the pool area for the entire lesson. There are no swimming lessons during the summer holidays. Our stable team of pedagogical staff creates a safe, familiar environment. We work closely with parents and primary schools to support each child’s development optimally.
