BSO Binnenstebuiten

BSO Binnenstebuiten is a warm and welcoming after-school care facility located within the OBS Kwintijn school building at Broekplein 3 in Leiden. As part of the Stichting Boter, Kaas en Overblijf organization, we provide care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is thoughtfully designed with a cozy seating area and play spaces where children can relax and have fun after a day at school. We believe in the importance of play, creativity, and natural curiosity. Our pedagogical staff provide a rich and challenging environment where children can explore, create, and grow. We work with carefully chosen themes that connect with children's experiences and encourage them to be active, creative, and to discover nature. At BSO Binnenstebuiten, we believe it's important for children to feel safe and seen. We offer plenty of time and attention to each child and create an atmosphere where they can be themselves. Our spaces are designed with few chairs and tables, allowing children to play freely on the floor and in the corners. We believe in the power of play and give children the space to carry out their own ideas. As part of the BinnensteBuiten Child Center, we work closely with the school and other forms of care within the center. This ensures a continuous line in children's development and a familiar environment where they feel at home. We welcome children from OBS Kwintijn and other nearby schools, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. BSO Binnenstebuiten is officially registered with the GGD Hollands Midden and is under the supervision of the municipality of Leiden. We are proud of our place within the community and contribute to a close-knit neighborhood where children can grow into confident and engaged citizens.
