BSO Bie den Brooke

Welcome to BSO Bie den Brooke, located in the characteristic building of the former rectory at Bornsestraat 36a in the heart of Bornerbroek. As part of Stichting Humankind, we opened our doors on June 1, 2025 as a brand-new after-school care facility for up to 25 children aged 4 to 13. Our location is situated directly next to a beautiful park that invites children to play, explore and move outside. We believe that being outdoors and playing are essential parts of every child's development. That's why we organize daily activities centered around the natural environment. Whether it's adventurous treasure hunts, creative outdoor games or quiet moments under the trees, there's always room for personal initiative and discovery. Inside, we offer a warm and safe environment where children can be themselves. The historic rectory has been completely renovated and furnished according to Humankind's pedagogical vision: we respect the autonomy of the child and provide space for independence, discovery and playful learning. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in developing their talents and creating positive experiences. BSO Bie den Brooke is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We work with horizontal groups where children of similar age play and learn together. Our after-school care provides a wonderful place for school-age children to relax, play and be responsibly cared for after school until their parents pick them up.
