BSO Berend Botje Midwoud

BSO Berend Botje Midwoud is a small-scale after-school care facility run by Kindercentrum Berend Botje Midwoud B.V., located at Tripkouw 32a in Midwoud. We provide care for up to 65 children aged 4 years up to the end of primary school. Our qualified pedagogical staff collect the children from the connected primary schools after classes and accompany them to our centre. Before-school care is open from 7:00 a.m. until school starts; after-school care begins directly after school and continues until 6:30 p.m. During school study days and holidays we are open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We use a child-tracking system (KVS) that allows our staff to closely monitor each child’s development. Once a year we invite parents for a 10-minute meeting to discuss the findings. Communication takes place through the secure Parent App, where parents can view photos, reports and important information. Our location has a parent committee that advises on policy and serves as a contact point for parents. Safety and health are paramount: we apply monthly safety themes, follow the four-eyes principle and are inspected annually by the GGD. For incidental extra care, parents can request a day via the app, provided the staff-child ratio allows it. We wish every child and their parents a wonderful time at BSO Berend Botje Midwoud.
