Welcome to BSO Berend Botje, location De Dijkwerkers in Wervershoof. We are located on the ground floor of primary school De Dijkwerkers at Slotlaan 52. From here we personally pick up and drop off children from the Gerardus Majella and De Dijkwerkers schools, so parents can work without worry. Our after-school club, officially called ClubBB, welcomes up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Before-school care starts at 7:00 a.m.; we make sure every child arrives at school on time. After-school care begins right after school and continues until 6:30 p.m. During school holidays and study days we are open all day from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., 51 weeks a year. A fixed team of qualified pedagogical staff offers a varied programme every day. Children can choose: crafting in the creative corner, a sports and movement game in the gym or on the school playground, joining a nature project, or simply reading or building. We regularly organise outings to the petting zoo, the woods or the village. All activities take place in small groups so that every child has room to develop at his or her own pace. Healthy food is important to us. During BSO hours children receive fresh fruit and a drink; special dietary needs or allergies can be accommodated on request. We ask parents to provide spare clothes and rain gear, because we go outside almost every day. Parents receive daily photos and short reports through our secure Parent App, so you can share in everything your child has experienced.
