BSO Berend Botje Enkhuizen, located at Mozaïek Toereppel, is the after-school home for children aged 4 to 13, situated inside primary school Het Mozaïek at Toereppel 21 in Enkhuizen. We work closely with the school so that your child can move seamlessly from the classroom to a safe, familiar place once lessons end. Our doors are open every school day from 07:00 until classes begin and again from the final school bell until 18:30. During holidays, study days and other school-free periods we are available all day from 07:00 to 18:30. Our BSO is organised into two core groups: De Donderstenen (4–8 years) and De Keien (6–13 years). Both groups use the school’s bright, spacious classrooms as well as the central hall, where children can play games, draw or invent a play together. Outdoor play takes place on the adjacent schoolyard or on the small square just across the bridge; clear agreements for the latter are recorded in our digital ArboManagementSystem. On Wednesdays and Fridays we merge the groups into one cheerful mix of 4- to 13-year-olds, and during holidays or quieter days children from BSO Mozaïek Toereppel may join friends from BSO De Hoeksteen or BSO Het Anker. This creates new play combinations and keeps our offer fresh and challenging. We believe it is important that children choose what they want to do. The emphasis is therefore on learning and discovering through play. We may work together on a school project, but just as easily head out on an excursion, build a den or prepare a healthy snack together. Fruit, crackers and breadsticks are always available and drinks are included. Our team of pedagogical staff guide, stimulate and ensure that every child feels seen and valued.
