BSO Bavo Jenaplan Op Stoom

BSO Bavo Jenaplan Op Stoom is located at Westergracht 3 in the centre of Haarlem, on the same premises as the Bavo Jenaplan primary school. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is open every school day from the moment classes end until 6:30 pm. During teacher training days and school holidays we offer full-day care from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. We work closely with the Bavo Jenaplan school. As soon as the school day finishes, our programme begins. On study days children can spend the whole day with us. We connect to the school’s projects and incorporate them playfully into our activities. Exploring and experiencing are at the heart of what we do. We love being outdoors in the Hout, Kenaupark or paddling on the Spaarne. Even within the school grounds there is plenty to enjoy: we build skyscrapers from cardboard, invent recipes for the tastiest vegetable cake ever and programme robots in our Robolab. Sports, music, drama and cooking alternate – every child will find something to enjoy. Children choose for themselves what they want to do: join an activity or curl up on the sofa with a book. We believe it is important that children feel free to make their own choices. After school there is always time to eat and chat together. Food and drinks are provided by us, so parents do not need to bring anything. Our location has a capacity of 33 children. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 350662046 and meet all statutory quality requirements.
