BSO Baloe Wormer

Welcome to BSO Baloe Wormer, our main location at Dorpsstraat 187 in the heart of Wormer. We provide warm and secure after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. The site is spacious and features a cosy classroom-style play area with its own kitchen, an arts & crafts corner and a comfortable sitting area where children can unwind after school. Our qualified staff collect children aged six and older directly from school and guide them through an internal door into the care space. Younger infants (4–6 years) have a separate group with a maximum of 20 children, allowing them to play and explore in a calm, safe setting. This group enjoys a craft room, a social area, a drama room and a dolls & play room. The garden with its carpentry shed is a real highlight: children can play, build and romp outside to their heart’s content. We work closely with primary schools in Wormer, Jisp and Neck. Thanks to this partnership we align celebrations such as Sinterklaas, Christmas and Easter and ensure a smooth transition from care to school. Our before-school care (VSO) starts at 7:00 a.m. and our after-school care (NSO) runs until 6:30 p.m. We are also open during teacher training days and school holidays, so parents can always arrange reliable, safe care. At Baloe we believe in small-scale settings and personal attention. Each group has regular pedagogical staff who know the children well and guide them in play, relaxation and development. We provide healthy food and encourage outdoor play in our natural environment. Our location is easily accessible for families from Wormer, Jisp, Neck and the surrounding area. There is no waiting list, so new children are warmly welcomed!
