BSO Avonturijn

BSO Avonturijn is located in the brand-new Kindcentrum Avonturijn at Kogger 2 in Mijdrecht. Since Monday 3 March 2025 we have been offering, together with primary schools Hofland and Wereldwijs, a modern, sustainable and challenging environment for children aged 4 to 12 under one roof. Our motto is: ‘Living together, learning together’. We use the toddler classroom and all the spacious, bright school rooms. The large indoor area with open-plan kitchen invites joint activities and creative outbursts. The enclosed outdoor area – a generous schoolyard – offers plenty of opportunities to climb, scramble and romp around in the fresh air. Every day is all about discovering, playing and relaxing. Our pedagogical staff organise a varied programme around current themes. Think of creative craft corners, sports and games, nature experiences and challenging group activities. We celebrate birthdays exuberantly, festive and theme days colour the calendar and we regularly go on trips together. Before-school care is available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 am. After school we are there from 2:35 pm (Wednesday from 12:20 pm) until 6:00 pm. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children and ensure a smooth handover with the teacher, so that parents can work with peace of mind. We work closely with the schools and other forms of childcare within Kindcentrum Avonturijn. In this way we offer a continuous, familiar environment in which every child can develop in his or her own way. Feel free to come and take a look and experience the Avonturijn feeling for yourself!
