Babino BSO de Brandakker

Welcome to BSO De Brandakker, our welcoming after-school care centre in Assendelft. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13 in three inspiring groups: the Cheetahs, Panthers and Pumas. Each group has its own room filled with play corners and creative opportunities, while the central corridor also serves as a cosy play area. Our location is situated right next to primary schools De Regenboog and De Dorpsakker, allowing us to use both playgrounds for active outdoor play and sports. Together with the schools we form an Integrated Child Centre (IKC): one team, one vision, one plan. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition from school to after-school care and a continuous developmental path for every child. Every day we offer an activity, yet because after-school time is also free time, children are free to choose: join in or simply relax with a book or game. During holidays and study days we join forces with other Babino after-school locations in Assendelft. Children are then cared for at De Brandakker according to a varied programme that includes cooking, sports and games, creative workshops and fun outings such as a day in the forest, a playground or bowling.
