Brakkenstein Pater Eijmardweg

At after-school care Brakkenstein on Pater Eijmardweg 21 in Nijmegen we welcome children aged 4 to 6 who attend primary school Brakkenstein. We share a building with toddler group De Paddestoel, located right behind the school so the children never have to walk far. In our spacious group rooms you will find an extensive home corner, a shop, a construction corner and a cosy reading corner where children can retreat for a moment. Older preschoolers have a separate space for crafts and games. We play outside as much as possible. Our own garden features a sandpit, swings, a climbing frame, an outdoor kitchen, a small football pitch and a vegetable garden that we maintain together. When even more space is needed, we use the school playground or visit the nature playground in the neighbourhood. After school, children can burn off energy, meet friends and play exactly the way they want in a familiar environment. Our activity programme is fully tailored to the developmental stage of preschoolers. We offer both calm and challenge, structure and room for personal initiative. This way, every child can do exactly what they need after a school day.
