BSO de Fonkeling

Welcome to BSO de Fonkeling, our warm after-school care located at Doyennéperenlaan 1 in Vleuten. We are part of Kind&Co ludens, the largest social childcare organization in the Netherlands. Our BSO is located in the same building as primary school De Fonkeling, allowing children to play and relax in familiar surroundings right after school. We provide care for up to 66 children aged 4 to 12 years, divided into three age groups. In building Appel, our BSO is situated in the playroom, while in building Peer we use a playroom and a classroom shared with the primary school. Our playrooms can be flexibly arranged for sports and games, and we have a spacious outdoor playground where children can enjoy themselves. Every day, children can choose from various activities. They can independently engage in crafts, board games or dress-up. Additionally, our pedagogical staff offer guided activities such as theater, cooking, handicrafts and sports. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. The lower grade groups receive more guidance during activities, while we give upper grade children more space to make their own choices. Our pedagogical staff don't aim for just a 'nice day', but create a 'super fun day' with outings, individual attention and workshops. We stimulate autonomy, creativity, cooperation and participation. This way we create a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
