Boerderij de Zonnestraal

Welcome to Boerderij de Zonnestraal, our after-school care (BSO) located at Uiterdijkenweg 32 in Luttelgeest. We serve children aged 4 to about 12, Monday through Friday, including school holidays and study days. Our philosophy is simple: after a demanding school day filled with obligations, children need space to unwind and choose what they want to do. Children are collected straight from school by our Zonnestraal minibus or dropped off by parents. We pick up from De Floreant in Luttelgeest and Burgemeester de Ruiterschool in Kuinre; children from other schools are equally welcome if parents arrange transport. Once on the farm, kids decide for themselves: bounce on the trampoline, ride go-karts, build dens, or help out in our vegetable garden. Caring for and petting the farm animals is a daily highlight. Those who prefer a quieter moment can retreat to our cosy living room ‘de Zonnestraal’. Books, board games and a peaceful corner await. Activities are offered daily, yet participation is always optional. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide when needed and ensure a safe, familiar environment.
