Boemerang Dassenburcht

Welcome to BSO De Boemerang Dassenburcht, part of Humankind. We are located at a unique spot: Manegeweg 5 in Almelo, right in the middle of nature and making use of two spacious, sturdy buildings of Scouting group J.F. Kennedy. Here, children aged 4 to 13 have all the space they need to play, discover and grow after school. BSO time is free time. Some children love crafting, others just want to unwind after a busy school day. Both are possible with us. We offer a wide range of activities focused on movement and creativity. Children can build huts, play in the forest and explore nature. Playing in the forest provides a free play and learning environment where we always tailor our offerings to the different age groups. Our pedagogical staff always pick up the youngest children from school. For older children, it's often possible to come to the BSO independently, depending on age and distance. We work with vertical groups, meaning children aged 4 to 13 play and learn together. This stimulates social development and provides space for natural leadership roles. De Boemerang Dassenburcht is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We provide care for up to 43 children. We are also open on study days and ADV days, so parents are always assured of childcare. We look forward to welcoming your child to our green, adventurous environment!
