Blokkendoos

Blokkendoos is an after-school care facility (BSO) run by KOSMO Kinderopvang, located at Godfried Bomansstraat 28 in Nijverdal. We provide care for children from the age of 7 in a welcoming community building on the edge of the ‘de Blokken’ neighbourhood. Inside we have a spacious group room and a kitchen where children can do crafts, play games or enjoy colouring. Soon we will be adding robotics to our programme, giving children the chance to learn programming and discover technological skills. Outside there is a large playground where children can climb, clamber and play football. We also make use of a nearby public playground, especially for the older children. Nature and outdoor play are central to our approach. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:00. We work closely with Prinses Marijkeschool, whose pupils use our after-school care. As part of KOSMO, we are committed to high pedagogical quality, personal contact and a familiar environment where every child feels at home.
