Bij ZON! Thuis

Welcome to Bij ZON! Thuis, our after-school care in the heart of Den Hoorn. Since April 15, 2019, we welcome up to 77 children aged 4 to 13 daily in a warm, homely environment at Sionsdreef 4. The location is a stone's throw from shopping center De Hof and, together with the adjacent ZON! Children's Cooking Café, forms a mini-village where children feel completely at home. At ZON! Thuis, being outdoors is central. Our children romp in nature, get deliciously dirty in the mud and dance in the rain. We believe that children grow through free play and discoveries outdoors. The spacious garden and playgrounds around the villa offer endless opportunities to climb, run, build and hide. Every day is different and every child is allowed to have their own adventure. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and respect. We see every child as unique and offer space for their own initiative. After school, relax with a book, build a hut together or be active in the garden – anything is possible. We work from trust in the power of children and encourage them to make choices and work together. At ZON! Thuis, children find a second home where they can be themselves. We celebrate together, learn from each other and make every day special. Our location is GGD-approved and works according to the highest quality standards.
