Big Ben Kids Scheveningen

Big Ben Kids Scheveningen is located in an elegant 1899 villa at Scheveningseweg 46, just minutes from The Hague city centre, the Scheveningse Bosjes park and the beach. As part of Zo Kinderopvang we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4–12 who attend a variety of international and Dutch schools across The Hague. Every day we pick up from schools such as Lycée Français, European School, HSV – van Nijenrodestraat, Annie M.G. Schmidtschool (both sites) and CBS De Spiegel. Our BSO is open 52 weeks a year. During term time we welcome children Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 15:00 to 18:30 and on Wednesday from 12:00 to 18:30. During school-holiday weeks we are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:30, giving parents reliable cover all year round. Across our two BSO groups – Party Pebbles (4–6 years) and Rebellious Rockies & Genius Gems (5–12 years) – we balance fun with development. Children enjoy swimming lessons, energetic sports, creative cooking and craft workshops, music sessions that boost brain function, and regular outdoor adventures in nature or excursions to museums, playgrounds and the beach. Through these activities they learn about healthy eating, different cultures and their own unique talents. Our international team speaks both English and Dutch, so children from every background feel at home. We see our setting as one big family where every child receives individual attention and the freedom to be themselves.
