Betuwse Streken Echteld

Betuwse Streken Echteld is our after-school care (BSO) located inside the PWA primary school at Achterstraat 27 in the heart of Echteld. We are part of Villa Kakelbont Kinderopvang, an organisation with more than 30 years of experience in childcare in the Betuwe region. Our BSO provides care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 15 September 2020 under number 215219053. Our programme is centred around outdoor life in the Betuwe. Children have the freedom to play, craft and explore in nature. Wellington boots are ready for every child, because we go outside every day – come sun, wind or rain. We believe that outdoor play helps children grow up healthier and more balanced. Through play, they develop motor skills, language understanding and self-confidence. Children may be dropped off from 7:00 a.m. We start the day calmly with a healthy breakfast so that everyone is fit and ready for school. We only escort children to and from the PWA school. If a child attends another primary school, we look together with the parents for a suitable solution. Our certified pedagogical staff work according to a clear pedagogical plan. Healthy food and plenty of exercise are key. We encourage children to explore, cooperate and be creative with natural materials from the area. In this way, they learn through play about the rich environment of the Betuwe.
