Berneplak de Lytse Sinnestrieltsjes is a small-scale and loving after-school care facility located in Nieuwehorne, housed in the barn section of a renovated farmhouse overlooking the countryside. We provide before and after school care for children from 4 years old through the end of primary school. Our BSO has been officially registered since November 17, 2010 in the National Childcare Register under number 713985744 and offers space for up to 26 children. Our location features 2 hectares of land, an animal pasture, a vegetable garden, and a chicken/rabbit enclosure. Children can discover and learn through play here. We regularly organize excursions and activities such as Easter egg hunts, game afternoons, and exciting ghost walks. Our pedagogical staff guide children with their homework and provide a cozy place where they can relax, play, and explore. As a certified children's center for multilingual development, we work in both Dutch and Frisian. We believe it's important that parents are involved in their children's care. Through the parent committee, parents can contribute ideas about the quality of our care and help organize fun activities for children and parents. Our BSO is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Start and end times can be determined in consultation.
