BSO Berflo Es

At BSO Berflo Es, located at Apolloplein 1 in Hengelo, we welcome children aged 4 to 12 in a brand-new building in the heart of the beautiful Watertower Park. As soon as the school bell rings, our pedagogical staff are ready to pick up the children from IKC Berflo. For safety and recognisability, the children wear reflective vests. Our location offers a rich variety of activities. Music is central: children enthusiastically drum, practise with the tambourine and recorder, and discover together what sound thunder makes. In addition, children can choose from different activities every day, such as crafts, cooking or sports. We love to make use of our unique location: we picnic in the Watertower Park or visit tennis park Veldwijk for a first tennis lesson. Our building shares the grounds with two primary schools, with whom we work closely. The fresh, green surroundings offer plenty of space to run, climb and play outside. Parents stay informed through our own app, where we share photos and messages so they can experience the day from home. We also provide care during school holidays, so children can spend their free days safely and challengingly. We believe that every child deserves a powerful start in an environment where they feel safe and seen. That is why we work with six pedagogical building blocks that allow children to grow playfully and gain new experiences.
