BSO Berenhuis, Berenstoer, Kindcentrum Esch

Welcome to BSO Berenhuis, Berenstoer, Kindcentrum Esch – the place where primary-school children from Esch and the surrounding area can feel safe, challenged and happy after school. Our centre is located on the same site as Willibrordus primary school at Postelstraat 19b in Esch and has room for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13. We are open every school day from 7.30 a.m. (before-school care) until 6.30 p.m. (after-school care) and also during all school holidays. At Berenhuis the child is always at the centre. Our pedagogical staff provide a full programme of sports, cultural and creative activities: dance clinics, theatre workshops, art-studio sessions and exciting treasure hunts. We work with professional partners so children can discover where their talents lie. Most activities are free for our BSO children; friends are welcome for a small fee. Of course, there is also plenty of time to read a book or play a board game in peace. During the holidays the programme is packed with fun: from playing CSI to outings and creative projects. Children have their say through our children’s council, which meets several times a year with staff and management. Their ideas are immediately used to further develop our centre.
