Welcome to KDV Berend Botje, location Schellinkhout. We are a small-scale daycare center located at Dorpsweg 109A in the heart of Schellinkhout. Our location provides care for a maximum of 8 children aged 0 to 4 years, allowing us to offer a homely and familiar environment where each child receives the attention they deserve. At Berend Botje, we work according to our pedagogical vision 'Growing through play'. We believe that children develop best through playful discoveries in a safe environment. Our pedagogical staff follow each child's development through our child tracking system (KVS) and tailor activities to the individual needs and developmental stage of your child. We offer VVE programs (Pre- and Early School Education) to stimulate language and thinking skills development. Our daily schedule is calmly structured with fixed moments for playing, eating, sleeping and outdoor play. We have our own outdoor playground where children can romp and discover. For the youngest ones, we provide bottle feeding, diapers and care products. Breastfeeding is also fully supported. We take dietary requirements and allergies into account. Children sleep in separate bedrooms or quiet corners in the group, depending on their age and needs. Parents stay informed through our secure Parent App with photos and reports of the day. We work with a parent committee and organize annual parent meetings. Our location is open 51 weeks per year from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
