BSO Berend Botje Hoorn, locatie De Flierefluiter

BSO Berend Botje Hoorn, location De Flierefluiter is located on the premises of Montessori School De Flierefluiter at Akkerwinde 57 in Zwaag. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO group is called the ‘Flamingos’. On school days we welcome the children from the end of classes until 18:30. On Wednesdays our location is closed; children then attend BSO Huesmolen in Hoorn. During school holidays, study days and other days when school is closed we are open from 7:00 to 18:30. On those days we may, if necessary, join forces with other Berend Botje BSO locations in Hoorn, such as BSO Stadsspeeltuin, BSO Het Kompas and BSO De Brug. This gives the children even more playmates and allows us to organise joint activities. Our pedagogical staff use the spacious group room at the school and can also always make use of the hall and, under supervision, the playroom. Outdoor play takes place on the adjacent school playground. We create a homely atmosphere in which the child is central. Fruit, vegetables and a healthy drink are included; the children are free to choose what they take. We work closely with Montessori School De Flierefluiter. We regularly take part in joint activities or join special events at school. Parents and children are always informed in advance about collaboration moments or any merging of groups.
