BSO Berend Botje Hoorn Kersenboogerd

BSO Berend Botje Hoorn Kersenboogerd is located at the Integral Child Centre (IKC) on Dubloen 98 in the Kersenboogerd district. We provide after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12. Our site works closely with primary school Klipper Dubloen and, together with day-care, playgroup and pre-school care, forms one child centre for 0-13 years. Our qualified staff collect the children after school and guide them to the BSO room. Opening hours are from the end of the school day until 18:30 on school days. During school holidays, study days and free days we are open from 7:00 to 18:30. We use mixed-age groups: at quiet times and during holidays BSO children may play together with children from the playgroup or day-care. This is always done safely with age-appropriate materials. Excursions and collaboration with other Berend Botje locations are part of our regular programme. Children regularly visit the City Playground and we work together with BSO De Brug, Het Kompas and Schellinkhout. Parents are always informed in advance about these activities. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 15 July 2016 under number 169798033 and is supervised by the GGD Hollands-Noorden.
