BSO Beatrix op Stoom

You will find us on the edge of Haarlem near the dunes in a very special building that looks like a Swedish farmhouse. Our after-school care (BSO) room is located in the attic of the Beatrix primary school. When school is out, children simply walk up the stairs and they're already there. At BSO Beatrix op Stoom, we challenge children to try out and discover everything. There's always plenty to do. Children can join us at our cozy kitchen table or let their creativity run wild in our cool studio space. Here they can color, craft, and shape their day exactly how they want it. For children who prefer to relax after a busy school day, there's plenty of space to chill out. And for those who feel like being active, they can join in sports activities or kick a ball around. We understand that starting at BSO can be exciting, especially for younger children. That's why we've created the Young Child Club - a special place designed just for them. This familiar environment allows toddlers to playfully get used to the after-school care setting. For adventurous children, we offer various clubs. Children aged 7 and up can sign up for SportClub Haarlem, where they get to know different sports while playfully developing their motor skills. In our Cooking Studio, children learn the art of cooking and discover how much fun it is to prepare their own meals. For the real adventurers, there's BSO Buitenbende, where children learn tough scouting skills and explore nature. Please note: participation in these clubs depends on available space. BSO Beatrix is open Monday through Friday from the time school ends until 6:30 PM. On study days and during school holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We provide care for up to 100 children aged 4 to 12 years.
