Welcome to BSO ’t Valder, the place in Landgraaf where children aged 4 to 12 can truly unwind and come alive after school. Located at Belvauer 62, in the same building as primary school ’t Valder, the transition from classroom to after-school care is literally just one door away—safe and familiar. Here, your child is given all the space and freedom to do whatever feels right. After a busy school day that is exactly what’s needed: first catching a breath in our cosy living-room areas, enjoying a sandwich and a drink, and then choosing whatever the heart desires. One day that might be drifting off with a book, the next day the kitchen is turned upside down while we invent a new culinary creation together. Every month we create a fresh activity programme together with the children, allowing them to follow their own interests and discover what makes them happy. Our pedagogical staff pick the children up at the agreed spot at school and walk with them to the BSO. Along the way there is plenty of time for a chat, a joke and sharing the day’s adventures. Once ‘home’, we decide together how the afternoon will look: games, crafts, dancing, building, hide-and-seek, kitchen experiments or simply chilling on the sofa. During holiday weeks we turn it into an extra celebration with bigger outings and adventures that last the whole day. In short, at BSO ’t Valder children experience a warm welcome, as if they are coming home. We offer peace, space and endless possibilities to grow, play and enjoy. Together we make every day a special day.
