BSO Klein Heyendaal

BSO Klein Heyendaal is located inside primary school Klein Heyendaal in Nijmegen-Oost. We provide after-school care for up to 75 children aged 4 to 13. Children are placed in fixed home groups, and we try to keep friends together as much as possible. The afternoon starts in the home group with a drink and a healthy snack. Together we discuss the activity programme and adapt it to the children’s wishes. In our spacious group rooms children can join an activity, pick out materials themselves, do crafts, play games, build, dress up, or quietly read a book in a self-made hut. We value outdoor play highly. Therefore, children go outside at least once a day or take a supervised walk in the woods. Our location uses the playground of Klein Heyendaal and the adjacent green areas for nature and discovery activities. During school holidays we offer care and organise a varied holiday programme with extra time for creative and sports outings. We work closely with primary school Klein Heyendaal, so children are cared for in a familiar environment by familiar faces.
