Noorderlicht

Welcome to BSO Noorderlicht, located inside the Het Noorderlicht primary school building at Spitsbergen 5 in Zoetermeer. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in the Oosterheem district. After school, our pedagogical staff use the auditorium, the doll and block corners, and the upstairs aquarium. Outdoors, children love to play football on the schoolyard or head to Heempark nature playground, where they enjoy challenges like racing across the log trail with our team. During school holidays we run an extensive programme of sports, creative activities, trips and workshops. We are open Monday to Friday from 14:15 to 18:30. In holiday periods we are open from 07:00 to 18:30. Early birds can join our breakfast club from 07:30 until school starts. We collect children on foot from nearby primary schools. For schools further away, Junis Kinderopvang uses its own bicycle buses or partners with a taxi company. Clear pick-up points are agreed with each school to ensure every child arrives safely.
