Kindercentrum Heidepoort

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindercentrum Heidepoort, located at Margrietstraat 2 in the centre of Heikant. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 and work closely with Basisschool Heidepoort, so your child can stay in a familiar environment after school hours. Our BSO is housed in the same building as the primary school and makes use of the spacious, bright classrooms and the secure outdoor playground. We are open Monday to Friday from 14:30 to 18:00. During study days and school holidays we offer care from 07:30 to 18:00, allowing you to work throughout the year. A fixed team of pedagogical staff is present on set days. This gives your child a familiar face every day and you always know who will be taking care of your child. Communication runs through the Parro app: you receive short messages about the fun and important things your child experienced that day, and you can contact our staff directly via the app. Our programme is designed to let children unwind after an intensive school day and then offer them challenging activities. We take each child’s needs into account: some want to play outside, others prefer a quiet corner with books or a creative activity. We do not provide holiday programmes with expensive outings, but rather a familiar place where children feel at home and can choose what they want to do.
