Kindcentrum de Meulenbeek BSO is a small-scale after-school care facility located within De Meulebeek primary school at Watermolenstraat 3 in Oostrum. We provide care for up to 33 school-age children from 4 to 13 years old. Thanks to our unique location within the school, we work closely with teachers: we play outside together with the younger students and regularly organize joint activities. Our open-door policy ensures that children of different ages can meet each other. Siblings can easily see each other and we work in a very child-centered way. We have a small, close-knit team of pedagogical professionals who work in both toddler care and after-school care. They ensure that your child gets plenty of outdoor play time, including in the nearby playground and the village's multi-sports field. Enjoying the outdoors is central to our approach! We offer before-school care from 7:30 – 8:30 AM and after-school care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:15 – 6:00 PM. On Wednesday this is from 12:30 – 6:00 PM. During school holidays and on study days we provide holiday care from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Extended care from 7:00 AM and until 6:30 PM is possible under certain conditions. Our vision is based on 'observe, follow and challenge'. We consciously look at each child's uniqueness, follow their development and provide appropriate activities and challenges. Together with parents, school and other involved parties, we ensure a continuous developmental path for your child.
