BSO SOM Locatie Het Kameleonsnest

Welcome to BSO SOM Location Het Kameleonsnest, situated on the grounds of Primary School De Kameleon at Kamelenspoor 82 in Maarssenbroek. We are part of the Sport Opvang Maarssen (SOM) foundation and have been providing after-school care since 2010, with sport, movement and personal attention at the heart of everything we do. Our location accommodates up to 100 children aged 4 to 13. At Het Kameleonsnest children enjoy one hour of sport every day under the guidance of a qualified ALO instructor. We use the school gym of De Kameleon and, during the winter months, Sporthal Safari. In addition to sports we offer a varied programme of activities tailored to each child’s interests and development. Our pedagogical staff collect children from various local primary schools after lessons and accompany them to our site. We work with a fixed team so that children always see familiar faces. Our child-to-staff ratio is 1:6, ensuring plenty of individual attention. Children from special education are also very welcome; thanks to our generous staffing levels we can provide extra support where needed. The team consists of sports instructors and pedagogical staff who, every day, work with passion and pleasure to create a safe, challenging and enjoyable environment in which children can develop.
