BSO Okidoki Hoogwerf

Okidoki After-School Care Hoogwerf is located on the ground floor of primary school De Hoogvlieger at Hoogwerf 9 in Naaldwijk. We provide small-scale, homely after-school care for up to 46 children aged 4 to 12. Children come straight to our spacious, bright group room after school, which connects seamlessly to the schoolyard and has its own outdoor area. Our qualified staff pick up the children from their classrooms at De Hoogvlieger and guide them to the after-school care. We work with a fixed team of experienced colleagues who know both the children and the school well. The afternoon starts with some time to unwind: a healthy snack and drink, after which children choose their own activities. Every afternoon we offer a varied activity program: crafting in our creative corner, cooking and baking in the children's kitchen, technical challenges in our 'tech corner', sports and movement activities in the gym or on the playground, and exploring in the nature garden we share with the school. Structure and freedom alternate. There's always space for rest and homework guidance, but also for play and relaxation. We use school facilities such as the gym, playground and nature garden. Our after-school care is set up with different areas: a construction corner, quiet reading nook, kitchen area and art studio. We work thematically and connect to children's experiences. We regularly organize workshops such as dance, music or sports clinics. During holidays we offer an extensive holiday program with excursions, creative projects and sports challenges. We provide healthy lunches and snacks, taking into account any food allergies. Parents are actively involved in developing our program through a parent committee. Our after-school care is open on school days from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM and during holidays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
