Teugelaar

BSO Teugelaar is part of childcare organization AVEM and is located within primary school De Teugelaar at Berghemseweg 16 in Oss. Our small-scale after-school care accommodates up to 22 children, creating a homely and familiar atmosphere where every child feels seen and valued. We pick up children after school from De Teugelaar primary school and several surrounding schools. Upon arrival, children receive a healthy snack and drink. Then there's plenty of room to play, relax, or participate in our activities. We work with a fixed pedagogical employee who knows the children well and understands what they need after an intensive school day. Our activities are tailored to the children's interests and range from arts and crafts and outdoor play to sports and games. We utilize the playroom and schoolyard of De Teugelaar primary school, where children can romp, play football, or relax in our chill area. When weather permits, we love to go out: we take nature walks in the area or visit fun places in Oss. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home at BSO Teugelaar. That's why we work with fixed rituals and clear structure, while leaving room for personal initiative. We actively involve children in planning activities and give them space to make choices. This way, they learn through play how to deal with freedom and responsibility. For parents, we offer flexible childcare options, taking into account work schedules and other commitments.
