BSO Baloe

BSO Baloe is located on the ground floor of the school cluster at Hendriklaan 11 in Harmelen. We are situated in the heart of the school and work closely with primary schools De Horizon, De Fontein and De Notenbalk. Our location is set in a green environment and features a large outdoor playground at the front of the building. Additionally, we use the playgrounds of the three schools. Our spaces are carefully designed for the age of the children. We have a large kitchen where we carry out various cooking activities together with the children. Adjacent to this kitchen is a beautiful enclosed inner garden. We use the community space of all three primary schools, giving us access to a large arts and crafts room, a cozy games room and a lounge area. The gymnasiums provide ample opportunities for sports and games activities. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens. This means we give children the space to feel comfortable and have fun. We believe that when a child feels good, there is room for development. Children are given trust and space to discover and be curious. We actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment, where playing equals discovering and learning. Our childcare is a mini-society where we care for each other and the world around us. BSO Baloe is for children aged 4 to 12. We offer before-school care from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. During school holidays we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are a place where creativity and sports go hand in hand, where children can play, discover and grow in a safe and stimulating environment.
