Babino BSO Herman Gorter (onderbouw)

BSO Herman Gorter (onderbouw) is part of Babino and located in the brand-new lower-grade building of primary school OBS Herman Gorter at Burgemeester Smitstraat 2A in Zaandam. We provide after-school care for up to 48 children aged 4 to 13. The location operates as an Integral Child Centre (IKC) and works closely with the school, creating a continuous learning line for children aged 4-13 and making the transition from school to after-school care seamless. Our BSO has two base groups: the Orange Bear and the Blue Bear. We offer both before-school care from 07:00-08:30 and after-school care from 14:15-18:30. During school holidays and study days we are open from 08:00-18:30. Our pedagogical professionals align activities with the school’s themes and provide a wide range of activities such as cooking, badminton and dance. The school playground of OBS Herman Gorter is used daily for sports and play activities. Enjoying movement is central; children discover that sports are not just about performance, but above all fun.
